How many facts are students presented with in the five minutes?I am trying to determine what percentage my students should be able to reach. I didn't see this information anywhere, but if it is, please let me know where to look. Thank you! Edited to add: Looking at the subtraction chart, there are 100 facts. Is that the amount of facts they are presented with? Edited by KellyW - 09 Feb 2009 at 8:51pm |

Yes, students are presented with 100 facts.
If you click this link: http://www.firstinmath.com/pretestposttest.asp (or the graphic link on your Team Leader Home Page that says "Pre-test/Post-test Now Available") you will see Just The Facts Assessment Parameters in the small, blue box. We separate this into four categories: Fluent; Proficient; Emerging and Needs Practice. I would suggest that you use these categories/numbers as a guide, but you may need to adjust them for your class. Remember, it's easy to check your students' progress in the JTF assessment report on your TL Home Page. |
